I consider this movie kind of like a slap-stick comedy, and I know others who regard it in the prophetic sense, and I have always had the feeling that it was a way to make themselves feel a bit superior, as if they don't have a part in the big comedy too.

"I get my sense of awe, wonder and beauty from the natural world, whether that's star gazing or studying and appreciating nature."

Yeah man... I'd dare to say there is some kind of religion in that.

I have to say, this is a beautiful conversation. Mine is mostly built around music. For instance, listening to A Love Supreme by John Coltrane, or Supper's Ready by Genesis.

Call me nostalgic, but this reminds me of the good old days on slashdot

I'm not sure there was really a need for log4j2, and I think the name itself is what drove most people to it.

Also agree with this. The way we communicate with each other is the most direct method of changing the environment around us. I think NVC helps people to understand their own motivations, needs, and projections while they are having these conversations.

I would agree with this. Although his delivery is a little over the top, I think there is some real truth in managing debt and finances.

Java is open source yet maintained centrally. I think the fact that tens of thousands of security patches were deployed this past week attests to the success of Java.

I think if you were not at that company, someone else would be making the mistakes. I think the fact that you are still there after 12 years, and consider your decisions so critically says that you are good at what you do.

As a Disney princess once said: "Let it go".

Forgetting is just as critical a skill as remembering.

Reminds me a bit of f*ckedcompany.com back in the day.
