The careful vetting of code and thoroughly testing it is super important, I would never even think of putting any generated code into any use without doing that.

This is a good point I think, and these steps take time and should definitely be done. I'm not sure people take this into account when talking about having AI code for them.
Keep in mind that spinners can also be used (as well as other indicators) that something is being processed client side, e.g. rendering a video and if the total time can't be estimated a spinner is reasonable.
Just out of curiosity what is the playtime limit for? I'm slowly starting to understand how to progress but I feel like I don't get much done in 30 minutes.
