It's all out there, tenfold. It's available to anyone who wants it enough.
I've had my identity stolen. The SSA office essentially does nothing to resolve it, they place the burden upon you as the victim to fix an unfixable problem. I didn't even bother. The whole thing is fucked.
I'm more worried about the lower tail end of the bell curve that doesn't get the memo, and they become increasingly deranged. When 1/4 of the public is essentially brainwashed, your society is in deep trouble.
I think my brain automatically blocks out stock photos, because I didn't even notice this post had an image.
But there's something funny about this. The blog template requires an image bucket, so mindlessly fill it with something, right? Too hard, so find a bland stock photo. Too hard, so purposefully generate a bland stock photo. Uninspired tasteless AI garbage is going to overtake everything in short order.
I reset the TV app whenever the ads become unreasonable, and every time I do that, the skip ads button reverts back to the original style (skip all ads after 5 seconds).
But if I login to an account, or use an anonymous session for long enough, the skip ads button will switch to the progress ring style, with 60+ seconds of unskippable ads. When that happens, I reset the app again.
Privacy is a policy issue, not a technical issue. We need to focus on advocating for more useful and effective privacy protections as citizens, instead of focusing on technical evasion strategies. Because as you're pointing out, that is a losing strategy in the long run.
