Seems very promising. I've used Claude a few times and the responses seemed significantly better than GPT-4.

I've been using Beam Analytics for quite some time and just love it for its neat UI as well as for a generous free tier.

I somehow missed your comment earlier. This seems a good idea! Will check this out for featuring in the next issue.

Interesting take. And yeah, I agree that present AI is far from being of acceptable quality with the long form content, especially for fiction writing.

Loved reading it. Will feature this in my newsletter on AI Tools and learning resources, AI Brews https://aibrews.com

Coming from a Java background, I totally can relate with the struggles in JavaScript ecosystem.

I don't think it will wane off with time, but will grow more. The new apps based on generative AI are empowering an average user without the relevant skills to create in a way that wasn't possible earlier. From creating gaming assets to powerful animations, it's impressive. So naturally people are excited about this.

Similar is the case on Product Hunt as well. But it includes all sorts of products - from simple wrappers around GPT-3 etc. to truly innovative apps. It's kind of becoming overwhelming. I write about AI products and learning resources in my free weekly newsletter https://aibrews.com

This sounds exciting. I'll feature in the next issue of my newsletter -(https://AIBrews.com)

Reading a good book is just like having a mentor. And a mentor can help you only when you are doing something and not just dreaming! So, both are significant.
wyem
·4 jaar geleden·discuss
There is significance. These are bootstrapped founders. Made it on their own without investments. So, more relatable specially when they tell you how any book helped them in making business strategies.
wyem

Yeah, appears to be the most favourite one amongst the bootstrapped founders.
wyem

Well, a few of the founders have clearly mentioned how their business has been influenced by their recommended book. It depends on the book. And of course reading alone doesn't make anyone successful. A good book is like having a mentor.

Seems so - from the founders' quotes in the same article.

Yes, that's a nice one!
wyem

If you read the interviews, you'll find some of the founders are actually 'repeatedly profitable'!
wyem

Nice! This is the model that I personally love. Will check out the book.

Made in Japan is an awesome read. The books recommended in this article are more relevant as they are from bootstrapped founders.
wyem
·4 jaar geleden·discuss
No. If you see the quotes of the founders in the same article, a few have clearly discussed how the books had an impact on their business strategy. This is what I truly found insightful.
