Hasn't this horse been beaten repeatedly on other threads? Dick Costolo's take doesn't add anything to what has been previously discussed.
>Me-first capitalists who think you can separate society from business are going to be the first people lined up against the wall and shot in the revolution. I'll happily provide video commentary.
Whelp, that’s one way to burn some bridges.

Wow that is a completely unhinged comment and seems very close to calling for violence against those who want work to be an apolitical professional environment.
Given he used to lead Twitter I have to wonder if his personal opinions are reflected in twitter’s own internal culture. Hard to trust them as a neutral platform for social discourse with such leaders at the helm.

It's crazy to think that these are the people who will lecture about ethics and morality and justice and so on.
The amount of people who are OK with this kind of rhetoric is astonishing.
Ironically in the US, it's the leftist anti gun crowd who generally supports the armed revolution rhetoric. I'm not sure they've totally thought that one through.

I think this is a common misconception. Views on gun control are far more varied among leftists than many will have you believe. In my experience, those who might be characterized as "anti-gun" skew much closer to the center, whereas leftists who disavow liberalism tend to be much more "pro-gun".
Not speaking on behalf of any particular viewpoint here, just stating my general observations from having interacted with people all over the political spectrum.

The people who are far enough to the left to advocate literally putting people against the wall are probably “pro-gun” in a short-term instrumental sense only; they want to have guns with which to execute their enemies, but they would undoubtedly seek to disarm their enemies.
I also just don't think most of them own guns. I think they more fantasize about it. I could be wrong but that's my anecdotal experience.
Meanwhile you've got center left guys in the midewest who own 19 tacticool firearms with cool skulls engraved in them because it's their hobby. Like one side of this equation has about 99% of the guns I would venture.

The fact that our elites are saying such things openly does not augur well.
Armstrong and Graham are the ones who are on the correct track here. I applaud their courage.
