I don't think I understand it at all.
I thought I did then I tried to formulate a reply to you (see below).
The best I can come up with is that we each create our universe, and so there are only two states for a person: a universe with them alive in it, or nothing. But I admit I don't see the significance of that view, possibly because I have it wrong.
