Remote work, not monetary compensation, seems to be the long term advantage that startups could have over large corporations.

The article highlights the rise in remote jobs. If large companies struggle to balance remote and in-office employees - startups can continue offering this as a very highly desirable perk.

Startups can't typically pay more than large corporations but they can appeal to flexibility in the workplace.

Does anyone have any experience in comparing Carta's comp and equity estimation tool to the reality? The cash seems aligned with what I see in the market but the equity always seems a little low
