“NHTSA released behavioral research findings from March 2020 through June this year that indicated incidents of speeding and traveling without a seatbelt were higher than before the pandemic.”
Hmmm. I get that people like some sort of narrative but I don’t suppose we could start producing the data so we can actually better understand the problem.
40,000 people die in crashes every year. “People speeding, under the influence, and not wearing seatbelts” doesn’t tell us where to start. I’m sure the data has a few more additional details.
