In the paper (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/pro.4941) it seems as if they are basically drying out the cells (kidney cells in culture) and then rehydrating them, and some percent survive.
Can someone link a paper to this study? Isn't this a dupe of a flagged story?
