Having read the article it doesn't say "hate speech" to me, it screams bullshit over the top parody strawman of DEI position.
You have to wonder about anyone who read that article and took it seriously.
Goldstein is not the author of this essay. Goldstein has never been employed by or contributed work to Thought Catalog. We do not know who authored the original essay. Thought Catalog allows pseudonyms and anonymous submissions and has since deleted this article.

Even if the article wasn't obviously fake, it's disappointing that someone could just jump to the conclusion that a random internet person's crazy opinion is somehow speaks for entire movements.
The irony here is that Musk spent decades being (apparently mistakenly) dumped into the tree-hugging, super-liberal, environmentalist camp. And yet he would probably think it was crazy to assume Tesla was part of some sort of woke agenda.
I don't care what your politics are, you should give your fellow humans the benefit of the doubt and not just jump to the craziest conspiratorial version of someone else's side.
