Futurist and writer William Gibson said: "The future is already here – it's just not evenly distributed." I recently had a chance to ride in a Waymo for the first time, and want to seek out more experiences.

A friend had a heart valve replaced as outpatient surgery, performed by a DaVinci robotic system.

(NOT A DOCTOR BUT) I imagine 10–15 years ago that kind of procedure would’ve meant days in a hospital and serious risk. Now it’s outpatient. Amazing stuff. Makes me wonder what other “already here” medical tech is hiding in plain sight.
