A friend had a heart valve replaced as outpatient surgery, performed by a DaVinci robotic system.
(NOT A DOCTOR BUT) I imagine 10–15 years ago that kind of procedure would’ve meant days in a hospital and serious risk. Now it’s outpatient. Amazing stuff. Makes me wonder what other “already here” medical tech is hiding in plain sight.
What have you seen or experienced recently, where you sensed that you were seeing the future? Perhaps something that other readers might not have experienced?
