Ask HN: Using X vs. LinkedIn?

I agree, from my LinkedIn experience, I find there is a lot of connecting but nothing after that when you engage these new connections. X is something I am exploring further. There is many requests to join courses and webinars. I am probably still trying to learn best way to use it.
LinkedIn for B2B, hands down. We sell to hardware manufacturers and decision makers there actually check their feed. X we tried but couldn't figure out who we were even talking to. The "people don't engage but reach out when they have a problem" thing is real, we get DMs from posts that got zero likes.
X is great for posting things like a soliloquy, but I feel anxious that if it goes viral, impression zombies or people looking for a fight might show up.
Really? I was told X is the worst converting platform out there. Maybe I am misinformed. Do you have any articles on that topic? I tried X in the past and the only thing I managed is that replies to pain signals did work, but it was a hardcore grind.
while in linkedin, I saw many posts on how linkedin people often don't engage but then reach out when they have a problem
Anyone here who tried both, do let me know what's working for you folks
