an ice age consists of alternating paired epochs 'glacial - interglacial'

an ice age is when things are bad cold sea level drops and icing occurs

interglacial is the opposite bright warm sea level is high

within these epochs periods of cooling and warming are also distinguished but on a smaller scale

the end of the last glacial epoch began about 20.000 years ago

we are now living in an interglacial epoch that began 11.700 years ago

and one example of a slight cooling in our generally warm times was the Little Ice Age which lasted from the fourteenth to the middle of the nineteenth century

after that global warming began intensified by anthropogenic impact

point: saying that 'global warming' is caused by human activity is like saying 'coffee with milk' is just 'milk'

if this search engine does not have its own index then the only mechanism it can use is to filter the search results of other search engines

this means that this search engine cannot give you more information than is contained in the index of the donor search engines

you just won't notice the existence of agi

there will be no press coverage of agi

the technology will just be exploited by those who have the technology

linguistic models are based on images of objects and phenomena, not on the physical properties of those objects and phenomena

there's practical knowledge and there's theoretical knowledge

practical knowledge can be used as technology but theoretical knowledge cannot

by and large, chat gpt is a generator of 'idle chatter' that people are used to in their communication and often in their thinking
