Same here. The stutter is quite annoying, and easily reproducible. It only happens when streaming lossless music; does not happen when playing downloaded music.

Amazon Music Unlimited has no stutter whatsoever when streaming lossless files. Perhaps Apple wasn't quite ready to offer Lossless, knew the stutter was there, and released it anyway.

I simply do not return to a restaurant where the server holds the POS screen in front of you at the table for all to see. Usually the tip is pre-selected for something like 25%. Clicking "custom" and choosing a different amount is intended to make you feel embarrassed.

Another place is counter service. They want a tip right after you order and are paying. Haven't even tried the food. No idea how the service is going to be.....and you want a tip....based on what?

These places will not see me again.

We have noticed this happening lately too. Thanks for pointing out, I will pay more attention from now on.

Calling it "Subscribe & Save" is misleading. Customer aren't necessarily going to "Save".

Apple Music is much slower since they moved to server-side authentication. Every single request has to be sent to the server, authenticated, retrieved, then sent back the end-user. Add a song to playlist sometimes takes a lot longer than expected. Do not add the song a second time while waiting or it will show up on the playlist twice. Songs stop playing for no apparent reason - I suspect its due to your session needing to be authenticated quite often and this can cause the music to stop. Personal radio station loads X songs, then plays them in a loop until you can be authenticated and make another request for another group of X songs to be played.

As someone with a background in QA, I can only assume they do all their testing under "ideal conditions" so they do not notice the (sometimes frustrating) lag time for end-users.

Agree that Apple Music needs some improvements when driving and cannot access the screen.

Playing my 'personal' station in the car loads usually 2 to 15 tracks. These play in a loop. Wait, what?-I thought this was a station? Have to click the 'personal' station button again to load the next 2-15 tracks.

This kind of thing has gotten worse since they moved to server-side authentication. Every single request made has to be authenticated first....on the server side. If there is a lot of traffic you just have to wait. Try adding a song to a playlist; often this takes just a few seconds but sometimes it can take a few minutes (Wi-Fi or cellular, doesn't matter).

Apple has a mostly captive audience, so their services can survive by being "just good enough".

Distraction to divert attention away from the controversial "Inflation Reduction Act", perhaps?
