Can it also explain the following: "An alien named abcdpqrs landed on earth yesterday. What is the name of the alien who landed yesterday on earth?"

Chatgpt answers it correctly. abcdpqrs is perhaps not in the training set. If it is we can pick some othername.

“It’s a big job, but it’s not easy.” - Is this a problem? The way I understand this sentence is that: "It is a big job, and you might be excited about it, but it is not easy".

When talking to someone with whom we have a good rapport and good context, this conversation can be done faster. Basically, I/O is slower than the CPU.

Some of the other sentences can also be explained in similar manner.

There are nice short videos which talks about racism and tries to make people less racist. Similarly in India it would be good to develop such short videos so that people can become sensitive on this topic of caste and become a better society.

I was also initially surprised when I heard about caste based discrimination in USA. There are few points which helped me in understanding: 1) Personally a person may not have seen or heard of sexual harassment incidents. It doesn't mean "sexual harassment" doesn't exist. 2) Even if a lower caste person is not being discriminated, but if the person is feeling "uncomfortable" about revealing his/her caste it means that there is something wrong in the society which needs to be fixed. (very much like racism)

As such USA does much better job of telling about racism, then India does about casteism.

However India did a superb job of asking Dr.Ambedkar to write the constitution, by which the upper caste will abide. I am not aware of any other society which has said, "we believe in equality and will allow someone who was discriminated to make the rules by which we all will live".

Indeed the children introducing themselves in US with their caste is a thing to be highlighted from the article. Really feel bad about what we are teaching our kids. I am in India not in US, but did not expect this even in India today.

Thanks for this perspective on sexual harassment. It helped me realize that eventhough I have not seen it, it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. I have never seen sexual harassment but am certain it exists.

I was thinking the problem is limited to India and will not get carried over to US or tech industry in India.

Was not expecting to see caste system in US too and was doubting if it was real. I had heard one story where adults in US were introducing themselves with caste. This story talks about even the kids are introducing with their caste. What are we teaching kids?

Every Indian should read this. It doesn't matter if you discriminate or not, the person suffering is not dealing with just you but lots of people. Even if a small percentage discriminate that is bad enough for that person to feel vulnerable for long time.
