This comment does not make sense -- it isnt like the robots will be shooting at Clay pigeon -- the robots will be killing humans. Right now, most of the targets end up being civilians, that can only go up.
That is for sure -- I cant recall a single positive experience with a RE broker. I realize this is a city-specific example, but for the new yorkers - i was looking for an apartment in the upper west side (which is generally considered to end at 96th st, perhaps 100 or 110th.) The broker said sure, and started pitching me on something at 135th. If i was an out-of-towner, I would not have known better, and what does 1.5mi matter anyway? In town, this is like comparing night and day.
How do brokers have the gall to straight-faced sell people on this stuff?

Near impossible getting this to work on Sublime or almost anything else. I'm surprised there isnt more developer request for such tools.
That is all great if your HR department is fine hiring senior workers. My previous HR would rather have a $50/hr rate card and I hire 3 inexperienced workers than 1 experienced one at $120/hr
Easy - my ex-employer's HR department has an explicit policy of promoting when your staff grows. Part of it is a spreadsheet exercise at the end of the year and part of it is optics. The greater the staff I can show the higher the change of promotion. That was the deciding factor. Period.
I left that place because it was non-sensical, but it was a major employer in Connecticut, so i wonder how many other major employers have a similar policy.
Almost everything I see on neural nets are related to either image processing or text processing. Rarely time series or traditional DB type data -- is there a classic hello-world example or common demonstration of how neural nets are applied onto tabular data common in financial markets?

Those may be inflation figures given my the government, but real life has real inflation -- like things that are not counted in the world bank inflation period. Could of questions to think about:
- In real life, how much has your rent gone up by?
- In real life, how much have your medical premiums and co-pays increased?

Wow, that is incredible short-sightedness. I saw comparisons like this back in 1999, before the industry fell apart. Before a generation of companies went under. Before stocks fall and render the total comp just cash comp. before you get pushed aside due to age discrimination.
