I have been waiting for this. I currently use profiles, and container tabs, this will further help organising stuff.

You have to trust someone somewhere. You're simply placing your trust in the VPS provider instead of a third party VPN provider.

Not to mention the other stuff the VPN providers give you as standard which you'd have to implement and maintain yourself.

Do they buy it outright of pay a fraction of the cost upfront then overpay for it on expensive monthly contracts? I very much doubt most of the 50% US market aren't tied into 24 month contracts.

I much prefer camelCase over snake_case. No idea why.

I was going to mention this. 13 months each with 28 days.

Do they sell these in stores for cash? That would be the best anonymous way to do it.

I would love an eink based mobile. Can't find anywhere selling the ones you've named in my country though. Back to hoping they'll become more common.

Taking the article at face value my take is:

1. Upwork connected the client and freelancer. 2. The client used someone else's money/credit to pay the freelancer. 3. The fraud was found out and the money refunded.

This, then, IMO is between the client, Upwork, and the police. Nothing to do with the freelancer. They are a victim in this fraud as well. Upwork have no right to demand money from the freelancer, their platform allowed the fraud, they're liable.
