The "post-PC era" is greatly exaggerated. It may eventually happen but only for those kinds of consumers who would have never bothered with LEGO anyways.
For hackers, the PC (or Mac) isn't going anywhere.
In other words, if everyone uses the iPad, who creates iPads and all the apps?
I too think its a terrible idea but,
What a stupid question. (how much does Amazon cost with Prime?) I hope you realize that if you cannot figure out an answer to that questions in like 10 seconds yourself, you probably shouldn't be commenting things like companies pivoting.
(And an equally stupid answer. Prime is $79/year if you are not a (mom or a dad or a student))
Once its transferred, its transferred. There is no "return policy" equivalent because its tied to an employer and your past employer wont necessarily keep the position open just in case you need to come back.
I am excited but I am really curious about how I can bootstrap my startup while working for a big Co. on H1B. Is it possible with these "updated rules"?
EDIT - the "full time" sounds like a major hurdle for those who want to bootstrap. Am I correct?
I would like to assume good faith but strange that Jonathan was so active on HN the day his card story was here but is nowhere to be seen on HN today/this thread.
