yup. i wonder if there's room for a different paradigm in the Linux community that works via some alternative like reporting or karma instead of spyware

as i understand it the big roadblock for multiplayer AAA titles is anticheat, and dont see anyway that changes until linux eats into the MS marketshare (but it should.. linux is a joy!)

those were not the worst things. a keyboard that breaks a week after you get it was the worst thing. the second worse thing is this redefinition of a computer into a big ipad. where does my sd card go? i cant plugin to the hdmi tv at a friends or a board room? why does it have a headphone jack? if we dont need it on our phone why do we need it on a laptop (lol)? oh yeah because inch by inch... apple is the epitome of capitalism, good and bad, and lately more bad than good.

exactly. people are noticing it with google but its all tech companies where your only point of contact is an email address. paypal, uber, facebook, steam, etc etc -- they all deny service to innocent people on a regular basis with no recourse for them. it reminds me of pre social justice movement. isnt it the business' right to deny service to anyone they want to? like all black people? actually, no.

am i the only one skeptical here? the guy put 5000 hours and is paying for advertising but the app is totally free? he doesnt say anything about what could have been flagged as deceptive.

do what? there are only 3 legitimate choices when it comes to operating systems (the thing that underpins every single computer). with that comes real social responsibility. this thread is evidence that microsoft is showing no regard for that responsibility.

That link should be flagged.

"This would explain why shootings occur in “gun free zone” schools and movie theaters rather than in police stations or gun clubs."

Seriously HN?

meanwhile, to us canadians, it's painfully obvious that the problem isn't websites, but guns. curbing free speech is not going to solve this problem for you.
