I won't recognize (2) because it's false. Any current - and past - fwd will work just fine in Canadian snowy and icy conditions. Sure if you drive a shitty propulsion car you will get stuck everywhere but those cars are the exception.
Edit: you acknowledged yourself that argument is mostly bs later in your comment...
I like how a webpage about technology getting worse has text too small to read on images you can't zoom (but tapping on it uselessly display the same image in some kind of picture carousel), and randomly ask me to tap a button looking like a link to "continue reading" instead of loading the whole page at once.
2000 isn't remembered as much as XP because it was never marketed to end-users but as an upgrade to NT4 and a workstation os. Home computers at the time came pre-installed with Windows Me, that was barely usable. When XP came out, it was so much better than Me that people loved it fondly, but in fact it was mostly Windows 2000 with a shitty Telletubbies theme.
I'm unsure the US can unilaterally decide if it's in a war or not. Do the opposite side consider it a war? Do the international community consider it a war? Semantic games internal to a single side do not matter much.
