love that you somehow think that the other contenders are so much more trustworthy (and you have the top comment so others do as well) that you have to comment on it.

I know he is an AI influencer that promotes his blog any chance he gets.

I agree as well that he writes many interesting things.

Anyone care about these pelicans that always come up anymore?

Clearly at this point they are part of the training data.

They even all look sort of ish the same. Daytime, colors,...

Same with eggdrop.

Speaking of; why the names?

Correct, that was my point

> That’s not a software guy who happened to raise some money. That’s someone whose stated specialty is the PE integration and exit process.

Holy smokes has that's not just -> THAT IS become one of my trigger words.

Curious how this thread would have been if Firefox did that.

Why do we need that?

Art should demand more of the creator than the person experiencing it.

The alternative is 9 billion who cares slop things.

Curious why you think that? Stuff like

> Yes, there is a relative scale level...

> Yes, having the smartest model will...

> yes Chinese AI companies have ...

yes yes yes, I didn't say anything, why write in a way that insinuates that I was thinking that?

I mean it doesn't come off as AI slop, so that's yay in 2026. But why do you think it is so good?

This comment was wildly invalid even years ago.

See proton, heroic launcher, etc, etc.

Cyberpunks own benchmarking suite runs 30% faster (for whatever reason; my wintendo install is stock and nothing but nvidia drivers) on the ntfs windows partition on Arch.

Oh the billion bollar vc backed pre ipo companys story was this? Omg and they somehow are not delivering up to your standards? Damn they better get their act together lest people like you will whine on twitter about them losing their way

What is so fucked up about this is that THEIR WHOLE RAISON D'ÊTRE is knowing more about you than you do.

You think they need this to know your age? Your gender? Your home, your birthplace, your political stance?

Everybody says this. It's so weird.

How on earth will epic win without exclusives? It's like launching some Facebook competitor "but you get two profile pictures". Noone would switch.

All these geeks singing steam and lamenting competition. Competition bad for me mkay, steam good.

/me shakes head

If you use an extension like vimium, you get this by using the standard [[ and ]] vim motions for this.

Also, using the keyboard for navigation, while it sounds like a chore, is really quite excellent, and I prefer it to the mouse, as crazy as that might sound.

Given their statements, influencers and indeed their raison d'être I don't understand why this and bun was acquired? Why did they not just Ralph loop it? Claude is famously not made by humans anymore.

One prompt and call it a weekend. Surely they have the compute.

Oooooh, right.

Same reason we don't have windows 41 either.

Look at the post history https://news.ycombinator.com/threads?id=hristian

and it's an old account (2014!). why do people do this? it's like griefers in games.
