In general, what is IP and how it's enforced are two separate things. Just because we've used copyright and patents to "protect" an organization's unique advantages, doesn't mean we need to keep using them in the same way. Or maybe it's the best we can do for now. That's why BSD style licences are so great.

We are hiring experienced engineers to help us build out our mobile and web app products. We love product-minded engineers that are comfortable both managing a team and working independently, and love to contribute to product decisions. Our tech stack is built from the ground up on Elixir/Phoenix and Flutter/Dart.
We launched our flagship mobile research app [1] in November 2019 on the Joe Rogan Experience [2] and have since had over 35,000 iOS app installs with a 4.8 star rating. Among our flagship studies, we've partnered with world-famous mycologist Paul Stamets [3] on a UBC research ethics approved 12,000+ participant correlational study [4] on the effects of microdosing psychedelic substances on cognitive performance and mental health. We've also partnered with award-winning cinematographer Louie Schwartzberg on a 5,000 participant Gratitude Study.
