Low compared to the US - that's true of most places. Low on a global scale? Absolutely not.

You're making it sound like we're living on minimum wage.

The average Java developer in London is within the top 5% of the UK in terms of salary.

Divorce can be as traumatic as a death - for me it was liberating though.

His post comes across as arrogant / maybe even a little choosing beggar.

He lists his very specific requirements for working with him which makes me think he wouldn’t fit into an existing system, he’s want the system to bend to his will and that might be at the expense of others.

He comes across as thinking he is shit hot and that I’d be lucky if I were to hire him.

Based on his blog post alone, I would not hire him.

Two short stints as a dev and he thinks the world should bend around him... lol

I understand that Americans call LEGO ‘LEGOS’ because you don’t just play with one brick, you play with multiple. You’re (incorrectly) using the plural form.

If the above is correct, why would you refer to a single block of LEGO as LEGOS’?

Also, would you consider using the word LEGO, as it’s written on the box, from now on?

I dived a few different areas two months ago in QLD and I was very sad to see a belched dead reef. I’m sure there are healthy parts but there are a lot of dead or dying parts too.

Australia is no longer my top country to dive - Indonesia and Philippines are far better.
