Completely agree, I have had several people move from various chat apps and texting to Signal largely because of the iMessage like features. Ultimately, I am now able to have more secure discussions with largely non-technical users which is good for everyone.
Anecdotally, I have lived in both the United States and United Kingdom. My tax rate was similar and in the UK I largely paid less for rent, healthcare and public transportation while paying more for staples like food. All in all costs were largely equaled out, although in the UK I enjoyed more vacation and worker protections I did not have as a US employee.
Exactly, I was unsure what to make of this story. While being demanding of exceptional performance may pay off in the short term, I've seen many environments where this creates a moral problem in the longer term - typically leading to staff turnover.
I completely agree with this comment, while I like to assume people are being helpful this whole thread is coming off a bit too nitpicky on the interface.
The story and pictures/video were simply amazing, and the way it displayed was excellent. Having just listened to Dan Carlin's Wrath of the Khans (http://www.dancarlin.com/product/hardcore-history-43-wrath-o...), the presentation really helped with some of the visuals and cultural references on the podcast.
