The explanation is wrong though. The employer pays you a fraction of the value your labor produces for them. Being enjoyable or not has nothing to do with it. You'd get paid for doing a valuable thing you could enjoy doing the same way nobody is going to pay you for doing something you don't enjoy that has no value for anyone.
Because most first-world ubermensch spend filling and productive days doing menial tasks for a living wage. I'm surprised how prejudicial and borderline racist comments like this are upvoted here.
Vegans and vegetarians live without consuming meat. There's plenty of plant substitutes for the nutrients we get from meat (nuts, mushrooms, soy and so on).
> In fact, "Balkans" in particular is an extremely ambiguous linguistic term and can mean so many different things to so many people.
Not really, Balkan countries are well-defined and have been so for over a century now. It's basically European countries that were under the Ottoman Empire:
Greece, Albania, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Croatia, Bosnia. One could also throw Slovenia in there but historically speaking, they have always been pretty different from other Balkan-folk.
I've been using Linux for the past 6 years (on and off only the first two of those) and I have never had this happen to me. Maybe when I was using Ubuntu it was harder to find good answers that were not specific to someone else's usecase because of the nature of Ubuntu forums.
