I vote. However, for particular positions like judges, I won't because I am not educated. I spend a lot of time researching propositions and candidates. If all the candidates look the same, I won't vote. I also won't vote on the "lesser of two evils".
you can call local beekeepers who will come out and take them home. I had a swarm adopt my tree as a new home. I called a local keeper and he came and removed them free of charge.

The dealers chose to enact legislation rather than quit a business model that was being squeezed by their supplier. Find me a business that doesn't squeeze suppliers and vendors to increase their bottom line. The worst enemy of the free market isn't itself, its the crony capitalism that takes place when government gets involved. Its rare (if ever) that the intentions become the outcomes.
I'll be the first. I'd be very concerned about this type of communication system and my vehicle. My concerns aren't limited to government surveillance, but that certainly is one. I'm also concerned about malware or other security vulnerabilities. I'm also concerned about the government "requiring it" and the related costs associated with it. It will certainly drive up costs to consumers.
I've read that CentOS is the best Linux distribution for public facing applications because they take security very seriously. If you choose Ubuntu, use the LTS version so its not moving so frequently but still maintained.
I use CentOS and Ubuntu for my web apps. I don't use Windows because my apps are all LAMP based and switching to Windows offers no benefit. If your Application is .Net based, you pretty much are required to use Windows (unless is Mono compatible)...
I strongly recommend Dave Ramsey's approach to credit scores. Credit scores are a measure of much much debt you can carry. If you carry a load of debt and pay it off, your score goes up so people can lend you more debt. That's the wrong question. The proper question is how can you remain out of debt and build your wealth? You don't need a credit score for that. As a 30something looking back at 10 years of debt, I totally regret it. Carrying debt is heavy on the soul and limits your options. Debt free living really is liberating.
Perspectives give insight into the "whys". You may not agree with the perscription, but understanding the diagnosis can be very enlightening. (For the record, I'm non-committal in either direction, atheism or otherwise).
9pm to 1am. after the kids go to bed. I don't watch tv. at all. ever. When you find stuff you're excited about, its easy to stay motivated. I keep my side work fresh and new.
