I’m expecting delivery of a used Lenovo yoga thinkpad simply to run one piece of software that I previously ran on an older intel Mac using a virtual windows drive, sadly the security on that software (dongles!!) will not and possibly will never run on new Apple silicon, so I’m gonna be lugging a win machine around for any projects that call upon that security software. I worked with the developer and tried a a patched software key for the same security, but sadly it didn’t work either. I’ll still be sticking to Mac for most of my work as I just prefer the way things predictably operate, but I am now going to have a windows toy to play with too, even if it’s actually for work !
That’s a fantastic build, I only wish e-bike manufacturers would offer similarly spec’s bikes, a days ride is very rarely 30 km, so 200 min or more like 200 km range would be a bike worth investing in.
I feel similarly about electric cars too, charging mud route or at destinations is rarely possible so 300 miles or greater are the only vehicle ranges I see as remotely practical. ( yes, I cycle in km and drive in miles , weird maybe)
Oh yes an edit - speed, who rides so slowly, those ebike speed restrictions are crazy low.
Thinking hard and fast with positive results is like a drug, ah those were good and rewarding days in my past, would jump back into that work framework any time ( that was running geological operations in an unusually agile oil exploration programme )
It looks good and has many soold features that meet most needs, but seriously lacking the simplest mud guard prediction that almost all no sport bikes need
Good design? I have a brompton bicycle which certainly scores high, and also a strida bicycle which scores high also , even though quite different in design.
You have clearly never tried to make a second cup - Allessi produce a far better designed coffee maker that shows a far more comprehensive design philosophy- I’ve been using mine for almost 40 yrs ( arghh so long!!!!)
