it’s inconsiderate because you’re forcing strangers to trust you in a situation where you could alternatively follow a simple rule… it also sets a bad example for people with poorly trained dogs. We live in a society, not everything is about you.
time isn’t the issue! that hugely oversimplifies things (retail isn’t disappearing because people aren’t hanging around places). It’s also possible by the time evs are widely adopted… say 10-20 years from now, charging won’t take as long or be as scarce… so not even time will be an issue

Equality isn’t about ignoring differences like race, it’s about being able to recognize differences while accepting them as equally valid. The oppression of race positive spaces can have a negative impact, despite the good intention. This is an issue women also commonly deal with. Whether or not the space stays positive or is used to discriminate is incredibly challenging, for sure.
