About: I'm a design engineer with over 15 years of experience taking products from 0 to 1. I work across the full stack, from design systems and frontend to backend and infrastructure. I've shipped products across AI, FinTech, media, insurance, and health. Most recently I led a product redesign across an AI suite at Miðeind. Before that I was Technical Design Lead at JPMorgan Chase, working on property management and cashflow analysis tools. I also designed and built the redesign for RÚV, Iceland's national broadcaster and the 6th most popular website in the country. I've built and sold my own products too: Baseline (https://baseline.is), a digital asset management tool, used to manage over 19,000 brand guides created, and Norde (https://norde.is), an icon manager. I love working on complex products with good teams. I pick up new tech easily and care about clear communication and doing things properly.
