Claude code is actually rather good at this. If your initial testcase is not too big, you can use creduce or cvise.

It's quite unsettling to be served English AI-dubbed videos randomly on Youtube, where the original is another language you normally default to (Japanese) and it's happy to use in most cases. And then you go to the settings for the video to go back to the original and it tells you it is... Chinese (and no, it's really Japanese).

Funnily enough, I have the exact opposite problem, where Google likes to give me results in the configured main language even when I do queries in another and actually want results in the other language.

Fair use doesn't mean you can placate any license you want on it.

I don't know about other countries, but in Japan, maps will show underground passages from e.g. the metro, with exit annotated with their numbers...

Unfortunately, not all numbers are shown, even when all the exits are non-overlapping at the displayed zoom level.

--no-remote doesn't do anything anymore. It was removed about a year ago if memory serves.

And, in fact, these implementations exist. At least in Rust, there's rqlite and turso.

That would be interesting for sure, but considering you don't hear yourself the same way someone else or a mic does, I'm not sure it would have the benefit you're expecting.

> How do you not look up travel destinations before heading out?

From the layman's perspective, they did. That's the whole problem.

Phones in Japan used to receive actual TV. Well, slightly different, but still directly from the waves rather than the internet. Phones used to receive AM and FM, too.

That is kind of surprising. The sqlite "unity" build, has about the same number of lines of C and takes a lot longer than that to compile.

If you take a listen to the linked video, you'll hear other names than his.

Oh wow, I was still using `ProxyCommand ssh -W %h:%p jump-host`

I'm French. I can't list them off the top of my head right this moment, but there definitely are annoying errors that natives do that are in the same category as "could of".

Let's be honest: given the opportunity (multiple lanes, etc.), the car would likely overtake a slow car as well, and stop at a red light right after that. I see that all the time (albeit I'm in Japan, not in the US)

Edit: point being, for some reason, some drivers really like to reach red light as quickly as they can, and that's not necessarily related to bikes.

Fun fact: In Japanese there is no "Si" sound and the closest is "Shi", so "Siri" is pronounced "Shiri". You know what else is pronounced "Shiri" in Japanese? Buttocks (尻).
