>want publicly schooled kids (including browns and blacks to essentially not receive Math classes)
I don't know that I got that impression from the website I posted. It seems more like trying to get educators to better understand the circumstances of their students, but I could be wrong.
> I'm just thinking that long-term military intervention to prevent capture/annexation of Taiwan is completely impossible.
You mean by China? I would certainly agree. Even with most countries not acknowledging Taiwan nationhood I would expect a strong international reaction to any military action by China due to Taiwan's special place in international technology exports.
It has been done in the past, Taiwan is a special topic for the US, I don't know that they would let it get to that point without intervening either diplomatically or militarily.
I have tried prioritizing the highest-order bit, but regrettably I never know the endian-ness of my bits. Maybe I am flipping a high order bit, maybe a low order bit.
This seems like a very interesting project, but the website kinda reads like a mad-person wrote it with the bizarre(to me) rhetoric about space and time and somewhat poor quality 3-D renderings. Clearly a lot of people are interested and invested in this project and making this space. Could anyone give a good explanation of what this project is/where this fits in modern art/science exploration?
I think there is something with this, and the minor resurgence of interest in C. I think people learn about the issues with memory and threads in C, use some other language and come back to C with better appreciation for what can go wrong and better care to keep things safe. C is the less fancy tool. It gets out of the way as much as VS Code does.
That was pretty interesting. Combine that with the neural rendering that was posted earlier for GTA-V and you could actually create high quality new novel content from remixes.
I guess one take away from this would be, be careful about hearing things that confirm your existing beliefs. Another might be that institutions with too much power and no true goal(being that witches do not exist in real life) become corrupt very easily.
Maybe there is some connection between the Spanish Inquisition and AI, given that most AI/ML systems end up reproducing biases inherent in the data/beliefs of those creating them.
>Intra-rectal delivery of a liquid form of O2 known as conjugated perfluorocarbon, a compound historically used in clinics for liquid ventilation through airway administration, is highly tolerable and efficacious in ameliorating severe respiratory failure. Thus, by repurposing the distal gut as an accessary breathing organ, enteral ventilation therapy offers an alternative paradigm as an adjunctive means to patients who are in critical need of respiratory support.

I love that they are moving toward supporting an amalgamation build. I and many others reach for SQLite because of this feature, and I think this will really increase the adoption of Zstd.
