Yes, not much interesting there. I became a developer on the side while doing support and then switched teams. I think pretty much every dev should do ongoing stints as support to understand the clients needs
It gave me a great foundation of understanding the clients mindset. There basically is no "they are doing it wrong" it means it was designed wrong

I am facing taking the mountain of pills or die situation right now. I know what the underlying cause was but in reality it is irrelevant to anything now. The event happened and now i deal with the fallout. The cause was not predictable due to lifestyle or anything else. It was simply like being struck by lightening.
So why do i care about the cause again? I dont. it was a non reversible event

Pallatiative care is making the choice to travel to end of the line. I am currently going through making that decision. If i do, bring on the tasty juices and accupuncture to make me feel relieved at the time. But i am not delusional, it's not treatment. It is not going to fix anything or even stall it
I doubt it will make any meaningful differences. Medical building is such a shit show. I routinely receiver bills for a service that happened 9months before, for a procedure i don't even remember. I have no question in my mind that will change one tiny bit.
My way to combat some of that is to wait as long as they did to bill me to pay them or just tell them their window to bill me closed after 6 months. Both tactics work and the debt is no longer pursued
Every one's experiences are different but i just switched from GrubHub because their drivers are assholes. door dash has been much better already
I contacted grub hub about the problem but don't expect much acknowledgement. They did refund a dinner that was stolen pretty much instantly and comped me for a next meal for the troubles atleast. But that was just one good resolution over a number of instances where drivers simply don't give a fuck
