the analogy is you have mspaint (or blender)

you add MCP (or an API)

suddenly with llama.cpp and a small model like qwen 3.6 35B, you can automate things by just asking.

emacs same thing, you can 'script' everything. Except no LLM needed

it requires 'the actual ntdll, kernel32 and user32, not reimplemented stubs.

So it's unclear how would that work from a licensing PoV

Why do you think that the anon-free internet will ensure there are no bots?

current bots are run and financed by humans already.

And what makes you think that current newspapers will evolve and regain trust? (as most of them are financed by 'rich' owners and therefore somehow influenced by the 'desire' of the owner).

This article demonstrates devirtualization of CodeVirtualizer/Themida protected code, however the techniques described apply to pretty much every virtual machine based obfuscator.

Windows is having a blast around security lately (e.g. https://therecord.media/microsoft-says-it-will-not-pursue-se... )

so I guess, one more tool does not really matter

the 8bit era had a few 'european' computers. but not scaled enough to survive the PC era, I guess.

arm is one offshoot of that era.

Erlang and Prolog (and Ada I guess) are also european-ish.

why? too many localisation to be able to scale?

RMS on copyright "This means that copyright no longer fits in with the technology as it used to. Even if the words of copyright law had not changed, they wouldn't have the same effect. Instead of an industrial regulation on publishers controlled by authors, with the benefits set up to go to the public, it is now a restriction on the general public, controlled mainly by the publishers, in the name of the authors.

In other words, it's tyranny. It's intolerable and we can't allow it to continue this way.

As a result of this change, [copyright] is no longer easy to enforce, no longer uncontroversial, and no longer beneficial"
