The trouble for these people is that politics has not been openly this way since the cold war because the position is untenable. A group that gets its power by pushing the doomsday clock is ultimately dependent on some counter force putting seconds back.

Sure CEO attribution 101. Can't possibly be responsible for everything bad in the lower ranks, but no doubt worthy of credit if a completely nontraditional choice no other company would allow works out.

It sure sounds like an analysis concluding that Musk hires completely unqualified people so they can be micromanaged and then scape-goats when it turns out the management they didn't participate much in was bad (or was maybe fine but could be blamed for problems beyond its particular scope).

It seems a bit strange to me that we as a society have agreed to arrest everyone in the knife fight in the mud despite very little risk of innocent parties wandering into the mud to be hurt, but if you put on a dress shirt..

The trouble here is "ICE officer may ignore" ignoring that selectively on a Republican Senator is a civil rights violation of everyone you didn't ignore it on.

I'm not sure I understand the royal system that well, but I think a journalists that refrains from acting on the change in demarcation or invents a new demarcation to go with his effective notability remaining would be acting out a bit of heresy against the royal monopoly on titles.

Realistic is that some data is impractical to protect and too late to protect if your parents chose a somewhat normal life for you but that is hardly all data.

Even Mr Assange in his embassy could have added fitness trackers to add metrics that were hard and spotty to estimate from video surveillance.
