My home lab system of choice is the lenovo m92p tiny (or updated version)
It's a headless system in a tiny enclosure. i5 processor with up to 16GB ram. Power consumption is nice and low. And they feature remote management via serial over IP, remote power cycle, etc.
They can be had for less than $100 on ebay, and for me have been rock solid.
While on paper it seems simple, it's worth investigating in detail how changing where/how payment details are transmitted and stored could change regulatory compliance requirements and liabilities of your business. It could be more time consuming and expensive than anticipated.
It wasn't until things were legalized that I had the option to try a 1:1 strain (equal ratio of CBD to THC) and I've found that to be a much better balance for me. The psychoactive aspects are still there, but less intense, more relaxing and without negative feelings. Kind of like sipping beer vs shooting tequila.
I will not be at all surprised when disease rates in areas near fracking skyrocket. Of course it will take probably ten years to even loosely correlate illnesses and deaths with "new" oil activity, and longer still for any change of course (if ever)
In many ways it feels like we still live in the wild west
To be fair, Elektron boxes and Ableton w/ push 2 have a lot in common. The push provides a similar UI to the octatrack, but expanded and aligned with ableton. Instead of a single row step sequencer/keyboard the push has a grid. And the push has a bigger, but still menu driven screen.
