If you’re looking for something similar for macOS, you can get partway to an i3 experience by using yabai and skhd. I’ve incorporated into my own environment and found it to be very useful.

Yea, I saw the same behavior. Had to refresh to clear it as any interaction didn’t dismiss it.

I’d love if you could elaborate on your setup. Are you using something like nvim-dap from within neovim or something else? I’m still trying to improve my debug experience in neovim.

I couldn’t agree more; Obsidian is just a fantastic tool for this. I’d like to add that the calendar plugin has been really helpful to quickly navigate between and create notes for each day or week. Keeping notes both on a daily basis and weekly basis has helped me to better plan and evaluate what I’ve been doing.

I’ve had my eye on the Kinesis advantage for a long time. Is there any form of virtual layering like on the ergodox? That’s been a key feature for me with the ergodox and I’d have a hard time living without it.

Even though your just referencing the articles of Macrofactor, I’ve gotta say the app itself an absolute pleasure to use. It’s been instrumental in my current bulk cycle.

One headset I’ve heard of that is aimed at more office focused usage is the SimulaVR[1]. However, it’s still a work in progress and you’d have to preorder.
