Sweden tested a 30 hour work-week and found it to be too costly. For some professions it just isn't realistic (e.g. supply chain/logistics industry).
For the professions where it is more realistic, maybe give them the option of finishing up the week at 30 hours but don't set a hard cut-off. I've found that the more work-hour freedom people are given, the better quality work ends up getting done.
Being quizzed on specific language syntax during in person interviews when they knew I didn't have much experience in that language was annoying.
Also, any mention of a cover letter was frustrating. I think hiring managers have enough info to decide if a phone interview makes sense with just a resume/Github, especially for a technical role.
Also, having to spend 20+ minutes creating an account with all my personal info just to submit an application stopped me from applying to multiple positions. That time adds up during a job search and makes it extra stressful, not to mention you end up feeling like you just dropped your resume into a black hole where it will never be seen.
Every headline I see from the Washington Post is framed dramatically in the favor of left wing opinions. They obviously only hire/print journalists that will drink the kool-aid spewed from the powers that be (Jeff Bezos??). If you don't see that, I challenge you to expand your mind by putting yourself in the shoes of someone who may see things differently or who comes from a different background.
My questions at this point in regards to WaPo are: Do their journalists actually have their heads so far up their asses that they believe their opinions are unquestionably correct? Or is the for-profit newspaper pushing this crap out as part of a hidden agenda that happens to benefit from left wingers being in power? OR are they just fear mongering and stirring the pot just to keep the sheeple distracted from something bigger???
Look at the Washington Post with their tail between their legs. The Washington Post's coverage of this election was disgustingly biased towards the left and they should be ashamed not only from a journalistic standpoint but also as Americans. I can almost feel Aaron Blake's scathing hot breath as he sat in his Prius and typed this article on his (made in China) Acer laptop (probably wearing a beret with a Hillary logo).
