I’m unclear why this isn’t just a PR template with a checkbox

Google Maps and most other maps will happily hide streets depending on your zoom level

> You should never trust these things not to make mistakes, so I re-watched the 35 second video and manually checked the numbers. It got everything right.

I'm working on planning next year's Square Foot Garden and building some tools to help me figure out staggering and succession planting--trying to be self-sufficient this year. I'm also working on a cookbook that focuses on "composable" meals and minimizing kitchen waste.

Microsoft admin isn’t my day job, but I dealt with this exact thing the other day—the toggles for Microsoft Defender MFA are spread across Entra ID policies, Registration Campaigns, per-user settings, and more Microsoft subdomains I’d never heard of. After two hours the best I could do was add a Skip button to the MFA prompt when our users sign in.

Makes perfect sense. Would it be frowned upon to contribute these POIs using automated scrapers? Or does OSM prefer hand-collected, seen-it-in-person data?

Has anyone else run into big gaps in OSM data? I’ve tried to cobble together a store locator with Overpass Turbo, and even though the queries look correct I’ll still get fewer results compared to Google Maps. Sephora and Walmart locations in the US, for example.

If you’re mirroring your Mac, the computer’s mouse/keyboard/trackpad work across both the virtual screen and Vision OS’s interface. You can also pair Bluetooth peripherals directly to the headset.

I’m still using Vision Pro for about 10-15 hours each week, but the bulk of that is spent mirroring my Mac or having focused writing time using the Obsidian iPad app—there really aren’t apps that take full advantage of the platform yet (and I don’t watch a lot of movies). Still, it’s been the best way to stay productive away from my desk. The launch was a bit rocky with bugs and missing features, but the recent updates to mirroring and keyboard/mouse support are starting to hint that Apple is focusing in on productivity as a first-class use case. I’m okay paying the premium knowing that this platform has the potential to keep heading in this direction. It feels like the hardware has a decent amount of headroom.
