It seems to hinge a lot on what is “culture”.

You can't judge just the exit without considering if the 20 years prior was a "success".

What compels people to believe the biggest liar on Earth?

This kind of belief should make one stop and think about one's information diet.

> I'm also certain that without ICE there would literally be unlimited immigration

ICE was created in 2002.

Blog post idea:

We made Grok 4.5, GPT-5.5, and Claude write a blog post about using Grok 4.5, GPT-5.5, and Claude to build the same apps.

And ICU uses data from CLDR, which is mentioned in the blog. Here, there are 380 xml files: https://github.com/unicode-org/cldr/tree/main/common/transfo...

Yes, ICU is ubiquitous. But, some NLP projects use various other libraries, such as uroman (just for romanization - to Latin script).

I could be wrong, but I don't think it's common for websites to just transliterate any text they're given. Let's check: ウィキペディア

Does the Latin-Katakana example given imply that some input value can cause it to not terminate?

Site down?

The Wikipedia page on borehole doesn’t mention Deep Water Horizon at all.

I don't see why any of these can't be done by AI. Except (7), which frankly, I don't understand what you mean.

> The burden of proof seems like it's actually on you to show why this current tech boom is any different from previous ones.

In past tech advances, there was always a long list of things that could not be automated by a machine.

For some visions of "AI", almost by definition there is nothing left in that list.

(Except some things, of course, where people want to interact with a human).

I didn't say I think so - I said in current discourse - e.g. this site and x.com. The narrative is that Europe is stagnant and US has pulled ahead, at least economically.

I think that can be consistent with Trump destroying the long term future of the country and the planet.

It’s “100% socialism” in your definition and 20% in someone else’s. Its pretty tiring constantly debating these words.

It seems in current discourse, turning a European country into another USA is a compliment.

“I found photos of my niece I thought were lost forever. Thank you so much!” Emily D.

Be honest, is "Emily D" a real person you got organic feedback from? Small thing that makes the vibed site off-putting.

It says "Storage: 1.3 GB saved", but then says it is Read-only.

One can believe in this concept and believe a decision (or the law) was wrong.
