Depending on what the car does, the driver might lose a point on their drivers license.

Once you’ve lost three points within three years, you lose your drivers license and will have to retake it. Depending on circumstances you might have a ban for some amount of time(finite or indefinite).

How does that help everyone else on the streets? Everyone becomes a victim of poorly working automated driving.

The distance is greater = higher latency.

It’s why satellite internet was usually pretty terrible. A simple TCP handshake becomes a multi-second endeavor.

A similar thing as what you propose already exists in the Nordics. You pay with your card as normal, and the receipt gets logged automatically in the app.

Not universally supported unfortunately, but the major stores support it.

I'm on Movistar, and I've had trouble pulling Docker images from Docker Hub.

It was. La Liga isn’t satisfied with the response time of Cloudflare. Cloudflare would not commit to content being taken down during while the match is still going.

La Liga wants to be able to point to a URL hosted by Cloudflare and demand it taken down that instant while the match is still on. It would require dedicated staff at Cloudflare to deal with La Liga stream takedowns.

The number will increase each year for sure. If all people are forced to pay, what’s to prevent them from charging 100€ a year or more?

I can’t do a simple `docker pull postgres:18` every time there’s a football match on.

Okay, so if they lose that case, Trump will just pass a new executive order that once again takes months to resolve.

Gigapress has almost nothing to do with Tesla. It is just the name given by Tesla to a process they purchase from a third party vendor(Idra Group). Tesla was the first to use this product for large scale automotive production though.

A single company controls the patents for eInk displays, so that’s why it hasn’t happened. China could probably pump them out for cheap.

Hamas and the Palestinians need to capitulate in the same way Japan did in WW2. Complete surrender. Then let someone come rebuild it into a functioning country.

You don’t need to shut down the actual blockchain network participants to kill it for your citizens.

Also there has been funding cuts to all agencies where Musk is currently under investigation. NHTSA is getting cut so they can't get in the way of Tesla.

Pay frozen? Absolutely not. The company would be undergoing bankruptcy by the end of day if not all employees agreed to it.

The legally required car insurance here in Spain covers damages up to 50 million EUR against a 3rd party's property.. Same in most European countries AFAIK

Netflix offered to pay for the circuit upgrade in the case of Verizon. They're both present at some of the facilites, so upgrading would be a small matter of adding more interconnects.. Verizon refused point blank.
