Run fsck on your disk. I had the same problem, digging into it I found APFS had hopelessly corrupted my disk, its snapshots, and the time machine backups. In the process I not only lost mail and other files, but I had unexpected app crashes and casual kernel panics. Once I found the corrupted files I had to log in into single user mode to remove them as I couldn’t even as root when logged as usual. Don’t forget to delete your APFS snapshots, if you don’t the problem will quietly sneak in again. After that you’re safe to make a new snapshot and a new backup.
Why didn’t Apple just give us ZFS instead of the shitshow APFS is?
Would she do it too if she had to do the shopping on her own once a week? If so, do it or your marriage will suffer. If she can’t reason you have deeper problems than being caught naked by a neighbor.
In this context is easy to understand that one can’t enjoy neither of those rights when dead. In a perfect world everyone would relate to that fact, respect the quarantine for a dozen weeks, and get back to work rebuilding everything as quickly as possible. Some people can’t reason and that’s why we all can’t have nice things.
Those same people could shoot down drones to steal the packages. When you have humans in the equation things tend to get messy, it’s just a matter of time.
Spinning is winning. Instead of using high torque shift to easier gears and spin as fast as you can while seating on the saddle. You’re going to get there with fresher legs though a bit hotter in general—it’s a nice cardio—but that shouldn’t be a problem because you’re steps away from your shower.
It’s really too easy to tap the “I’m not driving” button. We have a global cell-phone-use-while-driving epidemic going on that’s taking way too many innocent lives. I wish tech companies would start sharing phone use data while driving. That’s when people will start to care about the lives of others and the rule of law, the moment they see their premiums going up things will get better rather quickly.
You could’ve taken about the same time to make a feature request in a nice way. Maybe you should quit the hungerstrike and eat a banana or something, you’re getting a little cranky.
You just gave me a great idea. My car has a smat electric pump that I don’t trust. I’m going to store in the car a compact track pump in case I have to use the patch kit. Thanks for the insight on the lateral thinking.
Any decent track pump can easily get to an order of magnitude higher. I routinely pump bike tires to 125 psi. Back to the point, tires are the most important piece of kit in regards to driving/riding handling quality, and usually one of the most underestimated. I wish people in general paid more attention to the state and quality of their tires.
Get a ebike. I live on a street with a 8% climb and that on a ebike is just a stroll. My wife loves it. Most of my cyclist neighbors have one too. I occasionally “steal” her bike, but most of the time I love doing my climbing by myself. Though things may get hairy above 12% and definitely painful above 16%. However, with a ebike even those gradients would be fine.
