ESL BTW so if I said something wrong or it sounds mean, don’t assume the worst. Thx

There are instances where we don’t exist. We exist here right now though which is cool. Say what you want and shoot your shot.

You’re absolutely right and your solution is actually a better implementation.

the games are more interesting imo. like deus ex or even cyberpunk 2077

this is my issue with cyberpunk “literature”

it’s a genre written by people who barely understand technology and consumed by even more luddite types.

it’s all uninformed fear mongering

have an ai workflow man it’s mid 2026.

any time ai does any work, it ensures the ADRs are up to date.

it is part of the execution workflow.

maintain the todos which are a record of work that was done. ADRs have the latest current documentation.

english is the best language for business and everything else.

Life in EU seems like a mother-in-law simulator.

Like cool you get leftovers you can warm up (never something fresh, innovative), but then you also have to deal with the drama and cringe.

America is my home and I am proud to be part of a nation that is hands down the most consequential nation to have ever existed.

the reason we have so many haters is that we're actually so much better, i've never heard of anyone hating on a loser.

as an immigrant here and naturalized citizen, i think i have noticed that i am becoming more conservative because well... i don't share anything in common with illegal "immigrants" (12-30 million of them, btw ), socialist types (i grew up poor, but i also worked really hard), people who move here and still talk about their old country and trash America, or otherwise just don't really contribute or assimilate.

if people like another country more, i think they should move back there. if people want me to pay more in taxes so illegals get more protections and people who do the least get to cry more, no thanks. if you can't do the bare minimum and at least try to assimilate, you shouldn't be here.

this is my only passport, my only home.

imo yes, based on my experience with 4+ repos in production built using AI.

1. clean structure means the AI can predictably work because i want deterministic output.

2. basic things like following SRP leads naturally to layered code which makes testing new features and fixing bugs super simple.

3. reviewing code is simpler, because i see ai agents as "servants" i command to do something and thus an overseer is still required

soon agents will live for us

the ~game~ matrix
moomoo11

it will be just like the current trend too.

your agent pays the other agent, it doesn’t really work. maybe 10k agents do this.

the other agent will book that revenue maybe 100k in a month, cool they’re 1.2M arr. raise 20M, revenue drops drastically as number of suckers drops.

eventually the company will wind down and the next grift will start.

i wonder, what about the manhattan project? they were able to do that very secretly, i understand it was a different time.

but can the gov not just fast track this as a "national security" or something?

i think the usa should be the one who make 1nm or smaller chips on demand, even if it takes 5-10. years to do.

and yes i realize i might sound dumb here but i'm the one suffering from high hardware prices!!

really stupid question, but why doesn't the US gov work with someone like apple to build a american fab with like 1 trillion dollars budget?

some kind of private-public partnership

sorry if thats already happening in some capacity, like i said - "stupid question"

same. the last game i purchased that i enjoyed was cyberpunk, although that also got boring because at release it had some issues..

i recently bought battlefield 6 and that has been fun, but even then idk how to describe it. there's just no soul anymore.

i don't think it is because i'm getting older. back in the day there were teamspeak communities that ONLY played battlefield, and that was really fun.

now it is some discord servers, nobody really plays 1 game, but many on rotation. so for me, it feels like every game is just solo with whatever randoms show up.

so i've stopped playing lol. i like to think i got to play some cool games during the golden era, before enshittification, where people formed communities around one game.

how is that company doing?

i think that is a more important question that you shouldn't ignore.

do they have growing revenue?

this reminds me of when i got into tech and people were shitting on those of us who weren’t using compiled languages or managing memory.

at the time they were making like 80-100k doing 5x the work/effort, and people like me were making 150k using “noob” languages and “not understanding the computer” and other basically slurs.

everything is a tool.

ai is a tool.

be intellectually honest for a second.

are you telling me your docs were rock solid and accurate?

i will bet my entire net worth that your docs were always out of date and new hires struggled for the first month to be productive.

is ai a perfect solution? obviously it is not. nothing is perfect.

but if you have ADRs you maintain that are up to date in real time, the next guy who comes in with his AI agent can be up to speed in minutes or hours.

we are still in year 3. for some people they are still in the crib when it comes to using ai. i still see people copy pasting code. that’s fine. i’m not going to call them stupid.

i myself struggled with ai and even asked why i should use ai a few months ago.

then i actually took the time to sit with people at the bleeding edge to understand their workflows.

i have my own startup. i cannot afford to lose customers or make mistakes. i also cannot afford to bring on exceeds expectations tier engineers yet.

we have mobile apps, web clients, backend with tons of event driven real time stuff, etc. IN PRODUCTION

i’m able to ship every day, while keeping good test coverage and up to date docs and ADRs.

plus i get to focus on software architecture. coding is over. manual labor is no longer valuable.

now you need to be a good architect and i think most people were bad at systems design and architecture. this was always the elite level people aspired to become a few years ago.

now everyone has to be a software architect. a good one is insanely valuable. even today.

if people are trying to one shot stuff they’re going to have a bad time. just like if you bring on a contractor and tell them “i need x y z” without telling them the 8 pages of background information and existing decisions and reasons. you’re just going to waste your time and money.

so yeah for me it reminds me how when i started there were people shitting on me for making more money than them while they did more work than me.
