No. The gatekeepers are now simply smaller in number and more powerful. Being unpersoned is a thing now, where maybe the rich elites would tolerate a message and downplay it before, now the message, if unpopular, ceases to exist.
Unfortunately, it seems like this article is full of hyperbole, which if true would mean we’re living in the greatest of times, and maybe that’s true, but only if you’re the one ordering uber eats, and not the one delivering.
