The tools used by the blind changed a lot in the past 3 years. The era of needing specific ADA accommodations for the blind is probably already over, if challenged in court.

Im curious what FLOPS and per CPU bandwidth this has. It might be okay at running compute intensive shaders!

Presumably they could use a real-life human with good memory instead of computers. Would that solve anything?

There are an excess of teachers in the USA already. It’s a big reason they aren’t paid that well.

No good reason to import them except to pay them even less.

What is the process for becoming a maintainer?

Without one they will slowly lose all maintainers by attrition.

It’s clearly split old world vs new world.

But new world is getting pretty old now too.

Birthright citizenship is on the chopping block too. It’s only a matter of time.

Very well written article.

For my biggest codebase I too read every diff. I know the project intimately. I care about it and I’ll pay the cost if it’s wrong.

For smaller greenfield projects it’s up in the air. If it works it works.

Source needs to be closed too practically speaking.

But I bet AI is pretty good at analyzing binary too.

Fix your bugs!

> what do you actually want?

A UI option would make sense. That is what most users are comfortable with.

I can go long session with it making great code.

But the first time I say “No, it should be …” it’s nearly game over. If you say it 3+ times in a row, you’re basically doomed.

Sure, you can get it to fix the bug, but it comes at the cost of future prompts often barely working.
