I have, maybe you should too. Other than stating it’s not a 501c3, I haven’t heard a compelling argument. I think it’s OK that Linus gets paid to do what he does. Everyone here definitely benefits from this non profit organization. It’s ok we see it differently.

It’s the intersection of copyright and trademark law, where lots of folks get tripped up. The fork had a website that used the trademark owner’s trademark without permission. It has nothing to do with copyright or code.

As far as I can see, they still flirt with vendor lock in. None of their cameras supported ONVIF when I researched this previously. Nice hardware, lame software choices, IMO.
