The "secret forces" they identify are special forces (of course, what would you expect?), civilian consultants (same) and those who "search for high-value targets and collect what is called "publicly accessible information"—or even engage in campaigns to influence and manipulate social media"( i.e., military staff surfing the public web as anonymously as possible).
Article admits that only the real spies use fake IDs and then only during a mission: "Most signature reduction soldiers travel under real names, exchanging operational identities only once on the ground where they operate,".
Also some of this sounds like disinformation, e.g., re ability to manipulate enemies databases to get through security. Sounds like noise to freak opponents out.
Companies and people are leaving California in droves and coming to Texas. Cost of living in Texas is a fraction of California and Texas has no individual income tax. Texas colleges A&M and UT are excellent affordable public engineering schools. Availability and quality of medical centers are excellent. Elementary and high schools outside of the urban cities are generally excellant. Many many great entertainment and restaurant venues. State government has avoided the destructive Covid lockdown policies in California while putting in place balanced and reasonable protections.
Lusting after California salaries is a losing game when the salaries are inflated to pay for high taxes and artificially high home prices driven by a chokehold of regulations on new home building.
From experience in another state, they go first to the hospital, secondly back into nursing home but into isolated quarantined floors with specially trained fully covered ppe'd staff until several times testing negative, then into warm floor, then back to normal resident floor.
Not as I believe initially was case in NY from hospital directly into regular resident floor.
I agree. These numbers and methodology are highly suspect to me, particularly given the large self granted estimate range. Obviously lots of room for error. Not very useful analysis imo.

I am skeptical about FBI but 1969 was over 50 years ago and that was under Hoover. Different FBI now. They have jurisdiction over copyright issues so no need for any international intrigue. Maybe there actually is one here.
