You don't have to be around computer with your phone, just connected to internet. I opened whatsapp webui on my Linux computer (via vnc) in the USA while sitting in Germany on my phone.

Couldn't you do this in any language? Either write a do while or write a infinite loop with true as condition and then write breaks in the loop itself?

That's what I mostly do in java, write a while(true) and then either come back to change the condition or write break in the loop.

US senator from Illinois called out reddit specifically. That's the reason, I think. Reddit won't do anything unless they get get called out by media or government.

I am using whatsapp since 2012 (or even earlier) if I remember correctly. I paid $2 a year for 5 years to use WhatsApp. The reason being I have friends and family all over the world including different parts of USA, canada, Dubai, Singapore, Australia, India, UK etc. Whatsapp was the best tool for communication. And as you suggest stories and statuses are a part of whatsapp, it's just a second thought at the best. Out of hundreds of my contacts, I can count people who post stories and statuses on one hand.

Those features are not standing in the way of user's migration to signal app as far as I can tell.

BMI isn't a reliable indicator go gauge obesity FOR EVERY SINGLE PERSON. I would think most of us agree that the people like Tom Brady, Dwyane Johnson (the rock), or competitive body builders would be extreme ends of this scale.

For average people BMI is a reliable indicator.

Heh! Facts are always relevant when you are debating in good faith. People who find facts not supporting their beliefs argue dishonesty that doesn't mean facts are not relevant.

Would really depend on what you do isn't it? If you are backend developer, I would say jump with both feet. If you are someone who uses adobe suite etc, Linux is no substitutee for mac.

On top of my job, I do consulting for couple of places. I have two macs, but for my main gig, I use Linux. It's much easier/comfortable for me to code on Linux and do everything with terminal, write quick scripts and not bother with forced updates.

We just started. It takes time for it to click. But we are making progress. I enjoy seeing his face light up when he writes something that works as intended.

This is great. I was trying to pick a language to teach my kid and I wanted to start with BASIC as that's what I learned as my first language, but I couldn't find a working editor that could compile and run by click of a button. So I started with python. But I think BASIC would be easier to teach. This will allow me to do that.

What are you getting at? How is having homogeneous population causes less corruption in government? There are many asian and african countries with homogeneous population that are extremely corrupt.

Other countries do have 24/7 TV channels and other media.

I have done this too, partially. The problem with bluetooth on windows is that it doesn't work in duplex mode. You can't use speaker and mic together on bluetooth. If you disable the module for mic(don't remember what it's called) then the speaker function works perfectly.

All the support posts that I read told me that bluetooth is the problem, not windows. But I call BS on that as the bluetooth duplexing works perfectly fine on Linux as well as macos.

I've used opencsv java library on many occasions. It's pretty neat.

I completely agree with this. However, I also feel that there is something out there that I don't even know about, but somehow I need it.

Anectodal of course, but I can tell from my own experience that sleep cures so many things for me. Also lack of sleep causes many ailments in me.

I am definitely sad and angry when I don't get enough sleep, on top of not having enough energy. If I have a headache, taking a nap or sleeping longer always fixes it for me. If I have aches in my thighs and calves, taking a nap or going to bed early and catching 8+ hours of sleep fixes it right up.

I hope you are not so cocksure in every part of your life. It helps sometimes to understand what the other person is saying in more details than jumping to conclusions and then responding with emotions.

I take it that you are challenging my intellectual honesty, I am unsure about your intellectual curiosity.
