If I remember correctly, Malcom did nothing but harp endlessly about how the park was doomed to failure due to various vague non-sequiturs.

All we know is that he predicted fence integrity would fail somehow. We don't know what else he predicted, maybe he just got that one right by chance. We don't know if Hammond changed the park after the paper to invalidate Malcom's reasons for predicting fence integrity failure; if he had done this, Malcom would be wrong despite having predicted fence integrity failure.

We sent people to the fucking Moon _and_ brought them back home. I'll be damned if humans can't solve Jurassic Park.

>Mensa and other high IQ societies consist of people who have enough time to dedicate to being in a high IQ society.

They also consist of people who (stupidly) attribute a lot more value to IQ than it deserves. I got a 135 on this test, I am not smarter than Richard Feynman.

I bet that IMO/IPhO medalists are a LOT smarter than Triple-9 people.

(Yes, I know that Feynman underwent an actual physical examination, and his score was probably lowered by his poor English skills, but my point still stands: smart people typically don't have extremely high IQs.)

>Mob lynching is a good thing. People should be held to account for their actions. Further, people should be willing to take responsibility for their actions.

I almost do nothing on my phone. When I go outside, it's natural for me to daydream when I'm sitting down on a bench or whatever. I think it's partly because of how shitty the web browsing experience on a phone is (I don't have any social media apps installed).

>What happened after is that my mind found other ways to distract

As soon as I power off my laptop intending to study, I get an almost irresistible urge to start working on random math/physics problems I read about months ago. But honestly, that's way more productive than browsing HN/Reddit/4chan all day.

I recently disabled RES in Reddit. Now I can't infinite scroll through a porn sub hitting j, j, j,... with the images expanding automatically.
