Sounds like the second stage delivered a payload to orbit (of unknown mass).

Recovery of first stage is therefore very impressive.

Though in context it's 11.5 years after SpaceX achieved a similar feat with their Orbcomm OG2 mission in December 2015.

I understand it's a mild autoimmune disorder, manageable with diet and blood tests.

It's not a terminal illness or anything.

They'll be a Mandela Effect from this story I'm sure.

This sort of discussion is more suited to Reddit, but lookup the Dolphin emulator

In 5-10 years, incremental cloud tokens will be far cheaper (likely but not guaranteed).

The EV supply chain in the US back in say 2007 certainly had far fewer key parts sourced from China than recent years.

As far as US EVs being subsidized early, if you take state and federal tax incentives, DoE grants and loan guarantees as subsidizes then that's true.

It's debatable (I think incentives applied to all suppliers not just US ones) but a reasonable statement.

The US also drastically stopped constructing new houses after 2008

A machine that can perfectly selectively weed eliminating the need for herbicides would be significant.

This is a debt sale. Are you saying the SpaceX bonds will be part of a widely used bond index?

Fantastic decision: striking while the iron is hot (high market cap and market appetite) to build an investment war chest.

Even if they don't grow into their valuation and it drops substantially, they are well capitalized for a great business.

But it's not somebody who directly lived through it. Even the father's account was well after the war.

OP isn't OP's father, and wasn't alive during WW2

Hasn't SpaceX achieved that though?

And Saudi Aramco before they IPO'd

I meant that news sites should provide an API for Internet Archive to scrape their articles at all times to catch changes, but not provide any public access for an indefinite period of time (as an escrow) but eventually release it once the AI scraping issues blows over.

Block public access not archival

Internet Archive can keep it escrowed until AI training kerfuffle blows over

Where can somebody with regular taste senses buy these specially formulated chewing gum to try and develop super senses?

I wonder if it dulls other senses the opposite of blind people who develop more sensitive hearing.

Effectively formalizing the system we have now. As the article notes bottom 50% of come earners pay ~3% of tax at 54k income, and it's less than Sen Bookers <75k zero income tax proposal.

I mean the communist dictatorships of the 20th century (including those still around today) had their roots in labor movements.

Follows from the article, those who had little to lose who stand to benefit from overturning the system

California is shutting down refineries and importantly nuclear power and not replacing it, so appears likely to eventually follow Germany.
