Is there an issue with Wayland for your setup? I run Gnome + Wayland on Fedora, with two monitors with different sizes and different refresh rates - eerything seems to run pretty fine, including gaming?

Mplayer/MPV used to be able to play videos in the X root window like a wallpaper. No idea if it still works nowadays.

As someone completely unfamiliar with the world of startups, this sentence baffles me. If this describes your track record, how do you even get funding? Obviously I'm not an investor, but this sentence alone is a massive red flag.
